Extensions Terms
Last updated: 2026-08-11
These terms apply to the DSGex browser extension (the "Extension"), currently published for Chrome, which draws DSGex Key Levels onto TradingView charts. The Extension is part of the Software as defined in the EULA, and these terms supplement the EULA and the Terms of Service.
1. Account Requirement
The Extension requires a DSGex account in good standing and a personal API key issued from that account. Extension access is gated by subscription tier; if your plan does not include the Extension, or your subscription ends, the Extension stops loading levels.
Your API key is a personal credential — treat it like a password. You are responsible for all activity carried out with your key. If it is exposed, revoke it and issue a new one from your account.
2. Permissions and Data the Extension Uses
The Extension requests the minimum permissions it needs to work:
- storage — holds your API key and display preferences in chrome.storage.local. Storage is per-device and is not synced across browsers.
- activeTab — lets the overlay draw on the chart tab you have open.
- Host access to tradingview.com — needed to inject the overlay and read the displayed chart's symbol and price scale.
- Host access to dsgex.ai — needed to request levels from our API.
The Extension sends only what is needed to return the right levels: your API key and the current chart symbol. It does not read your TradingView credentials, portfolio, orders, strategies, private scripts, or the contents of other tabs, and it does not transmit that data anywhere.
3. No Affiliation with TradingView
DSGex is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by TradingView, Inc. TradingView is a trademark of its respective owner. Your use of TradingView is governed by TradingView's own terms, and you are responsible for complying with them while running the Extension. If TradingView changes its interface or policies, the Extension may stop working in whole or in part without notice.
4. Display Overlay Only
The Extension only draws information onto a chart. It does not place, modify, or cancel orders, connect to a broker, or automate trading. Levels shown are computed estimates for research only — not a recommendation to buy or sell. See the Financial Disclaimer.
Rendering depends on reading the chart state correctly. Symbol changes, futures rollover, logarithmic price scales, and layout changes can each cause temporary discrepancies between the overlay and the source data. Always verify on the Platform itself before acting.
5. Installation, Updates, and No Modification
- a. Install the Extension only from the official Chrome Web Store listing or a build distributed by DSGex. We are not responsible for third-party forks, mods, or repackaged copies.
- b. Chrome may install updates automatically. Older versions may stop working when our API changes.
- c. You may not modify, reverse engineer, repackage, or redistribute the Extension, or use it for bulk extraction or resale of data — the restrictions in Section 2 of the EULA apply in full.
6. Termination
We may disable API keys, drop support for a version, or discontinue the Extension at any time. When your account ends, uninstall the Extension. The Extension is provided "as is" under the same warranty disclaimer and liability limits set out in the EULA.
