Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-11
This policy explains how DSGex (GEIA LLC d/b/a DSGex) uses cookies and similar storage technologies on dsgex.ai. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage — browser-provided storage that works like a cookie but is not sent with every network request. In this document, "cookies" covers those technologies too.
2. What We Use
a. Strictly Necessary
Required for the Platform to work. These cannot be switched off in-product; blocking them prevents you from signing in.
- Authentication session cookies set by our authentication provider (Supabase) — these keep you signed in and protect your session. Named in the form sb-<project>-auth-token.
- Sign-in session flags in localStorage (rememberMe, login_at) — used for remember-me behaviour and session expiry.
- Security and load-balancing cookies set by our infrastructure to route requests and mitigate abuse.
b. Preferences and Interface State
Stored in localStorage on your device so the terminal reopens the way you left it. They stay on your machine and are not shared with third parties.
- Language (lang) and light/dark theme.
- Panel state: selected symbols, strike ranges, DTE filters, view modes, toolbar layout, and similar chart settings across the Heatmap, Exposure, Flow, OI Change, Volatility, and Orderflow pages.
c. Payments
When you check out, Stripe sets its own cookies on their payment pages to process the transaction and prevent fraud. Those cookies are controlled by Stripe and governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We never receive your full card number.
d. What We Do Not Use
We do not run advertising cookies, ad networks, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioural profiles for marketing, and we do not sell personal data.
3. Browser Extension
The DSGex Chrome extension uses Chrome extension storage (the storage permission) to hold your display preferences and session token. This is not a website cookie and cannot be read by the sites you visit. See the Extensions Terms.
4. Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and clear localStorage by clearing site data for dsgex.ai. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in, and clearing localStorage resets your language, theme, and panel layout preferences to their defaults.
The Platform does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is currently no common standard for them.
5. Changes to This Policy
If we add a new category of cookie — a product analytics tool, for example — we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent. Details on how we handle personal data are in the Privacy Notice.
